President of Turkmenistan approves the Regulations on training and retraining of drivers

In order to satisfy the growing demand in the country for road transport services, to further improve the training and retraining of vehicle drivers in accordance with international requirements, which is one of the main directions of state policy on road safety, as well as in accordance with the Laws of Turkmenistan "On Road Transport" and "On road safety", the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving the Regulation on the training and retraining of vehicle drivers.

In accordance with the document, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Education, the State Border Service, the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, together with the Ministry of Justice are instructed to prepare and submit proposals on amendments and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this Resolution to the Cabinet of Ministers within a month.
