In order to strengthen, within the framework of the National Strategy of Turkmenistan on climate change in the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state, control over the effectiveness of work to systematically reduce the volume of greenhouse gases, and mainly methane emissions that occur in various sectors of the economy, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, according to which an Intersectoral Commission for the Reduction of Methane Emissions was created, and the composition of the above-mentioned commission and its Regulations were approved.
