Guided by the principles of mercy and humanism bequeathed by our great ancestors, in order to further strengthen the unity and cohesion of Turkmen society and every family, and on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree «On the pardon of convicted on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan», freeing the pardoned citizens of our country from further serving the main sentence of imprisonment, as well as from the additional punishment of being required to live in a certain area.
