In order to consistently strengthen the economic potential of the country, increase the volume of wheat production as a source of prosperity for the people and guarantee food independence, organize at a high level prompt collection without losses and uninterrupted transportation to warehouses and elevators of the grown wheat crop, as well as timely payment to grain producers in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, in accordance with which the State Commission for the organized conduct of the grain harvest in 2024 was created and its composition was approved.

The document prescribes:

– The State Association «Türkmenobahyzmat» to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operation of grain harvesters during the harvest season by establishing their proper maintenance on site;

– The Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, on a contract basis with the State Association «Türkmengallaönümleri», will ensure timely transportation of wheat harvested from the fields to reception points, warehouses and elevators without losses, as well as the uninterrupted and efficient operation of vehicles.

According to the document, the State Association «Türkmengallaönümleri» is allowed to use vehicles of other ministries and departments, as well as privately owned ones, on a contract basis when transporting wheat to reception points, warehouses and elevators.
