In order to identify talented creative workers who reflect through impeccable works the grandiose reforms initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, the 35^th anniversary of sacred independence, permanent neutrality, glorious history and national values, to select the most skilful among them and encourage them, as well as to enrich Turkmen literature with major works and significantly develop national art, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution on the announcement of a competition among literary, cultural and artistic figures, amateur young performers and gifted children for the prize of the President of Turkmenistan «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry».

According to the document, winners of the competition will be determined in established categories. Additionally, the competition will include a television competition for amateur young performers, «Ýaňlan, Diýarym!», a competition for dutarists and bagshy musicians, «Çalsana, bagşy!», and a competition for gifted children, «Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri».

The decree of the President of Turkmenistan will be published in full in the newspaper «Edebiýat we sungat».
