For their significant personal contribution to strengthening the independence and sovereignty of permanently neutral Turkmenistan, strengthening its defence capability, protecting its territorial integrity and constitutional order, ensuring security, public and legal order, and the rule of law, exemplary performance of official duties, and achieving high results in combat training, as well as for their many years of impeccable service to the sovereign Fatherland and courageous people, conscientious work, exceptional merits to the state and society, and significant successes in fruitful state and public work, and on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day, the President of Turkmenistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, signed a decree. According to the document, a group of servicemen and employees of the military and law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan were awarded medals of Turkmenistan.

Considering their contribution to strengthening the defence capability of the independent Fatherland, conscientiously fulfilling their sacred military duty, and their significant contributions to strengthening law and order, maintaining peace in society, as well as on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day and in accordance with paragraph 15 of Article 71 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, the President of Turkmenistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, signed a decree. According to the document, a group of service members and employees of military of Turkmenistan and law enforcement agencies were awarded military and special ranks, as well as qualification classes.
