In order to consistently continue large-scale reforms in the field of education, develop science and education in the areas of peace and neutrality, which are of great political and diplomatic significance, train qualified diplomatic personnel capable of adequately representing the interests of our country in the system of international relations, and further improve the activities of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution.
The document prescribed the opening of a Department of peace and neutrality at the Institute of international relations of the Ministry of foreign affairs, and also approved the structure of the Institute.
The Ministry of foreign affairs is jointly instructed to:
– within one month, together with the Ministry of education, prepare, in accordance with international standards, curricula for the Master’s degree program in the field of «Peace and neutrality» at the Institute of international relations, starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, and submit them for approval to the relevant deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers;
– together with the Ministry of Justice, within one month, prepare and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers proposals on amendments and additions to the legislation of Turkmenistan arising from this Resolution.
