During the last meeting of the State Security Council, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov made several appointments in the country’s power structures. By the Presidential Decrees the following appointments were confirmed: Colonel-General Berdiev Yailym Yagmyrovich - Minister of Defense; Major General Gundogdyev Begench Ataevich - Chief of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan and Commander of Frontier Forces; Police Major General Mulikov Isgender Handurdyevich - Minister of Internal Affairs; Third Class State Counselor of Justice Halliyev Amanmyrat Rejepmyradovich - Prosecutor General; Colonel Bayramov Dovrangeldi Garyagdyevich - Minister of National Security of Turkmenistan. The signed documents also provided for the following appointments: Colonel Chakyev Mammethan Berdimyradovich - Chairman of the State Customs Service; Colonel Nobatov Meylis Orazmyradovich - Chairman of the State Migration Service; Junior Counselor of Justice Muhamedov Begmurat Rahmangulyevich - Minister of Justice of Turkmenistan. In addition, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov issued the Decree, having appointed Minister of Defense of Turkmenistan, Colonel-General Berdiev Yailym Yagmyrovich as Secretary of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan.
