Theatre festival dedicated to slogan of 2018 “Turkmenistan is the Heart of the Great Silk Road” is to be held in Turkmenistan in June. It is planned to organize topical vision exchange sessions together with various stage performances under national artistic review aimed at the popularization of unique historical and cultural heritage and spiritual values of the nation.

Exhibition “Margiana. The Kingdom of the bronze Age in Turkmenistan” continues its work in New Berlin Museum. Presented artefacts from the museum funds of our country are demonstrated for the first time abroad.

Today is the second day of the archaeological exhibition titled Margiana: A Bronze Age Kingdom in Turkmenistan hosted by the Neues Museum of Germany’s capital. Tremendous interest raised in Europe towards the ancient history of our country translated into the exposition launched in this major Museum Center of Germany.

Exhibition “Margiana: The Kingdom of the Bronze Age on the territory of Turkmenistan” is opened in New Museum, which is located on the famous Museum Island in the centre of German Capital. The exhibits from museum collections presented at the exhibition were presented for the first time abroad. It became possible due to the support of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and adoption of the Law on Protection, Import and Export of Movable Values of National Historical and Cultural Heritage that came into force two years ago.

Turkmen capital to host the 55th session of the Asia-Pacific Broadcast Union General Assembly on September 30 – October 5. Representative international forum will discuss key aspects of of the development of this sphere and activation of the cooperation between world broadcasting companies.

Turkmen Horse Day is annually observed in Turkmenistan on the last Sunday in April.

Indeed, due to its geographic location Turkmen land became the main bridge between the Western and Eastern worlds. Important communication channels between the civilizations of Asia and Europe run via our territory.
