People’s artist of the country, Hero of Turkmenistan Maya Kulieva, celebrates another birthday. The leader of nation Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to Maya Kulieva on the occasion of her birthday, as well as gorgeous flowers and gifts in a token of admiration for her talent, respect, and appreciation for an amazing performance and a huge contribution to the development of national art.

Within the framework of the celebrations in the Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex, the awarding ceremony of the winners and prize-winners of a creative contest among painters and sculptors, carpenters and jewelers, photographers and videographers, designers and graphic designers for the best embodiment of the image of the ""paradise"" horse was held.

A faience statue of a dog, conveying with realism breed qualities of Turkmen Alabai was discovered during the excavations of the medieval settlement of Dandanakan on the territory of Mary velayat by archaeologists of the National Department for Protection, Study and Restoration of Historical and Cultural Monuments.

Specialists of the “Turkmen atlary” State Association, Ministry of Culture, State Committee for television and radio took part in organization of this campaign.

Cultural Days of the State of Palestine in Turkmenistan will be held on 3-5 May of this year. The schedule of the campaign will include concerts; the exhibition of pieces of decorative and applied arts of the friendly country; and film screenings.

An exhibition of art works, entered in an art contest, has opened in the exhibition hall of the State Academy of Arts. The contest is organized to popularize Akhalteke horses that are the national wealth and pride of the people of Turkmenistan.

Kazakhstan readers were presented with books ""Akhalteke - our pride and glory"", ""Flight of heavenly horses"" and ""Rapid step of a horse"".

As part of the Ascent project, the symbol of Asiada–2017 is hoisted up the highest mountains and erected at sightseeing attraction of every province in Turkmenistan.

On the territory of ancient settlement Paryzdepe in the vicinity of Ashgabat, archaeological investigations and restoration activities are proceeding.

The premiere of the “Planet of the Apes” performance, prepared by the Russian State Circus Company, was held with great success at the arena of the Turkmen State Circus.
