On May 14, 2024, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the head of the Turkmen-Austrian Society Neda Berger, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in cultural events dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the great classical poet of Turkmen people Magtymguly Fragi.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, and the khyakims of the velayats, to consider the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the country.

Last week, 20 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

In order to consistently strengthen the economic potential of the country, increase the volume of wheat production as a source of prosperity for the people and guarantee food independence, organize at a high level prompt collection without losses and uninterrupted transportation to warehouses and elevators of the grown wheat crop, as well as timely payment to grain producers in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, in accordance with which the State Commission for the organized conduct of the grain harvest in 2024 was created and its composition was approved.

In order to enhance the role of science in the context of reforming sectors of the national economy, including accelerating the development of innovative technologies for the production of environmentally friendly energy-saving goods, oriented towards import substitution and export, based on biology and biotechnology, as well as scientific substantiation of the formation of a powerful bio-industry in the country using biotechnology in era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, approving the State Program for the Comprehensive Development of Biotechnology in Turkmenistan for 2024–2028 and the Action Plan for its implementation.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, the agenda of which included a number of issues in the life of the country.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the invitation of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin as a guest of honour took part in solemn actions on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
