Today, Turkmen citizens celebrated the International Day of Neutrality and the 26th anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption of the Resolution on the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan. On the occasion of the glorious holiday, celebrations were held throughout the country, the focus of which was the capital.
The International Day of Neutrality and the 26th anniversary of the adoption of the Resolution on the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan by the UN General Assembly were widely celebrated with festive events today throughout the country.
The Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center hosted a festive concert dedicated to the International Day of Neutrality and the 26th anniversary of recognizing the permanent neutrality status of of Turkmenistan.
Today, the International Conference “Peace and Trust Policy – Basis of International Security, Stability and Development” has taken place in the Congress Centre of the capital and President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has attended its solemn plenary session.

Taking into account their service before our sovereign state and our people as well as on the occasion of International Day of Neutrality, for their great achievements in strengthening of independence and sovereignty of Turkmenistan, augmentation of economic power of our country, implementation of state programs for development of oil and gas, industrial, transport, agricultural, cultural and other spheres of economy and their fruitful public and social activity, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has issued the decree to award several citizens of our country the medal «Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin».
