For the great success and high results achieved in strengthening the independence and sovereignty of Turkmenistan, strengthening the economic power of the country, the implementation of state programmes, for the development of the agricultural sector of the national economy, as well as for the merits to the independent state and people of the country, many years of conscientious and exemplary work and, on occasion of the Turkmen Harvest Day, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on awarding the medal "Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin" to some citizens of the country.

On November 13, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who the day before upon completion of his working visit to the Republic of Turkey, arrived in Turkmenbashi city, visited a multifield sports complex built on the seashore and practiced a number of physical exercise with his companions-in-arms there.

Taking into account the significant contribution to strengthening the state independence and sovereignty of Turkmenistan, strengthening the economic power of the country, the implementation of state programmes for the development of the agricultural sector of the national economy, great success in state and public activities and merits to the independent Fatherland and the people of the country, many years of conscientious and exemplary work, as well as on occasion of the 30th anniversary of the great independence of our neutral state and in honor of the Harvest Day, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on awarding the anniversary medal of Turkmenistan "Türkmenistanyň Garaşsyzlygynyň 30 ýyllygyna" to:

An award ceremony was held today, in the capital's Mekan Palace, on behalf of the leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for tenants, cotton growers, grain growers, machine operators, agricultural scientists, breeders and other agricultural specialists who make a worthy contribution to the development of the country's agricultural sector.

Today President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has made a working visit to the Republic of Turkey to participate in the VIII Summit of heads of states of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The third session of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan of the first convocation was held today, at which the laws adopted on October 30 during the fifteenth meeting of the Mejlis Milli Gengesh were considered. These regulatory documents have been developed in accordance with the priorities of the socially oriented policy of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and a comprehensive program to modernize the country's legislative and legal framework.

Purposeful work continues within the framework of the program of in-depth study and preservation of the national historical and cultural heritage of Turkmenistan initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the search for its still undisclosed pages bringing its worthy results. New artifacts discovered by Turkmen archaeologists during the autumn excavation season at the Abiverd monument in the Kaakhka etrap of the Ahal velayat are another confirmation of this.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received reports from the khakims of the Akhal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats on the successful fulfillment of contractual obligations for the production of raw cotton by the country’s farmers.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting through the digital system with the participation of members of Milli Gengesh, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers supervising the agricultural complex, and heads of public organizations.

Today, the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the progress of work on the implementation of the instructions given earlier by the nation’s leader on the establishment of the Economic Management of military and law enforcement agencies, the construction of a building for the maintenance of service dogs, as well as a stable.
