A large complex of greenhouses is under construction in Kunyaurgench etrap of Dashoguz velayat by the Individual Enterprise «Gok yildyz» under order of the State Food Industry Association.

The Ministry of Industry of Turkmenistan continues the development of electronic device industry within the appropriate State Programme, implementation of which started in 2016.

The diversification of processing branches of Turkmen agrarian and industrial complex provided the chance to reduce the import of sausage products by 5, 8 times in 2016 as compared with 2015. Today the demand of the population for meat, including chicken, milk, eggs is satisfied at the expense of private commodity producers which also provide home market with the basic part fruit and vegetable and gourd products.

At the auctions of the State raw materials and stock exchange of Turkmenistan 34 transactions were registered for the week.

A modern efficient power supply system is being created in a new urban-type settlement (currently under construction) in “Täze Ýol” gengeshlik, Kounyaurgench etrap.

Turkmenistan’s retail trade increased by about 17 percent in January as compared to last year’s indicator. Alongside with that, prices for consumer products and rates for services, rendered to the population remained unchanged.

State Maritime and River Transport Service has implemented the state plan for January by 117 percent. The pace of growth in the cargo transportation and delivery of the services was 101 percent.
