Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atahalliyev and regional hyakims. The meeting reviewed the state of affairs in the agricultural sector and the country’s regions.

In order to enhance the worldwide fame of the «paradise» racehorses, which in our country are the pride and embodiment of the noble goals of the Turkmen people, their heritage, as well as to ensure proper preparation for international equestrian competitions and world-class beauty contests in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution.

Today, the capital city hosted the exhibition of carpets and carpet products as well as XXVI conference of the World Association of Connoisseurs of Turkmen Handmade Carpets, timed to the holiday of the Turkmen carpet annually marked on the last Sunday of May.

In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, effective measures are being taken in our country to carefully preserve, improve and convey national values to descendants, which is of great importance in the development of the ancient art of carpet weaving, which is an integral part of the universal cultural heritage. The art of carpet weaving is a unique contribution of the Turkmen people to the treasury of human civilisation. Our skilled carpet weavers - women and girls who weave world-famous, magnificent carpets - also perform significant work in this area: their work is worthy of recognition and honour at the state level.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent heartfelt congratulations to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the people of the country on the occasion of Azerbaijan's Independence Day.

Today, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Hajy Arkadag performed a festive prayer in commemoration of the beginning of Gurban bayramy in the mosque of spirituality of Turkmenbashi in Gypjak and familiarised with the course of construction of a mosque in Arkadag city where he gave Gurbanlyk-sadaka. All it attested to the adherence of Hajy Arkadag to high cultural wealth and centuries-old traditions of Turkmen people.

Celebrations on the occasion of Gurban bayramy have covered all corners of our country. The events that unfolded, including in the Turkmen capital of Ashgabat and in the city of Arkadag, were vivid evidence of the deep reverence of this sacred holiday by our people. Gurban bayramy has increased the spirit of celebration and solidarity of the Turkmen people. This was another clear confirmation of the inviolability of the centuries-old traditions of our ancestors, which are carefully preserved in the modern epoch.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif in connection with the terrorist attack that occurred in Balochistan province, which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an online working meeting with participation of Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet T.Atahallyev and khyakims of velayats to consider the course of work in the agricultural complex and in regions of the country.
