President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent condolences to President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in connection with the numerous casualties, injuries and massive destruction that occurred in the country as a result of floods in Henan province.

In order to further develop cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as to implement the tasks set by the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek Intergovernmental Commission on Water Management Issues, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, approving the membership of the Intergovernmental Commission for the Turkmen side.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has become acquainted with project designs for different buildings and facilities soon-to-be-built in Ashgabat.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Cabinet Deputy Chairmen, Mejlis Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Milli Gengesh, members of the State Security Council, heads of some ministries and sectoral departments.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the Dashoguz velayat, where he took part in the opening ceremony of a new residential area and building "Türkmeniň ak öýi" in the administrative center of the region.

The past week was notable for a number of events, which reflected the consistency of the reform-based policy course pursued by the leader of nation Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov aimed at further improvement of the Turkmen people’s well-being, development of the Motherland’s economic potential, and enhancement of international cooperation.

Today, a telephone conversation took place between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and recently elected President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Ebrahim Raisi.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has conducted a digital working meeting with the Ashgabat khyakim and Cabinet Deputy Chairman, responsible for the Turkmen capital to discuss the capital city’s further development, modernization of its infrastructure, as well as preparations for the upcoming important occasions.  

In accordance with a Presidential Decree, Annageldi Bayramdurdyevich Saparov has been appointed Deputy Minister of Industry and Construction Operations.

On July, 17 President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in which several issues, connected with forthcoming work and foreign policy activity in the second half of the year of the current year and also preparation for the celebrations planned in honour of the 30th anniversary of independence of the country, were considered.
