Members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan have held an online meeting to discuss priority areas of bilateral partnership.  

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, members of the State Security Council, as well as heads of a number of ministries and sectoral departments.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed the Order, according to which student of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports has been awarded with the Medal of Turkmenistan «Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin» (Love for the Motherland) for personal contribution to strengthening of independence of Turkmenistan, development of sports of the highest achievements in the country as well as for big success in sports and merits for the state and society.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed the Decree, according to which weightlifting coach of the High Sport Skill School of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs of Turkmenistan has been awarded with the Medal of Turkmenistan «Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin» (Love for the Motherland) for big working achievements in strengthening of Turkmenistan’s independence, sport authority of the Motherland, merits for the state and society.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed the Decree, according to which medal «Gaýrat» has been awarded to Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Berdiniyaz Myatiyev for special merits for the state and society.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution, which on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan resolve the following:

President of Turkmenistan, President of National Olympic Committee of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has visited the capital’s Olympic village where took part in the event on occasion of the honoring of Turkmen sportswoman Yulduz Jumabayeva – the winner of gold medals of the World Weightlifting Championship held in Ashgabat in November 2018.

Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, Ms. Naledi Pandor.

Specialists from relevant ministries and industry departments took part in an online seminar with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on expanding cooperation in the field of aviation and tourism. The meeting was organized within the framework of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Programme.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held online meeting with  First Deputy Director General of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company”, in short FSUE VGTRK, Anton Zlatopolsky. The possibilities of enhancing cooperation in information exchange and interaction through media were discussed during the meeting.
