Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held online meeting with UN agencies and international financial institutions accredited in Ashgabat.

The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea held online political consultations. Our country was represented by Vepa Hajiev, the Republic of Korea – by Kim Gunn.

In order to develop market relations, increase the share of the private sector in the economy, promote the development of small and medium-sized businesses, further efficient organization of trade and services, as well as in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan ""On Denationalization and Privatization of State Property"", the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, ordering, in addition to 10 million seedlings specified in Decree No. 1617 of the President of Turkmenistan dated January 31, 2020, to plant 15 million deciduous, coniferous, fruit trees and grape seedlings in autumn 2020 on the territory of the regions and the city of Ashgabat.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held regular video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers where current issues of the state life as well as drafts of some documents have been discussed.

Meeting with representatives of the Entrepreneurship Chamber of Mangistau Region, the Republic of Kazakhstan has been held in the Trade and Industrial Chamber in online format. Heads and specialists of the government and private structures and diplomats were among the participants of the event.

Perspectives of development of Turkmen – Bahraini inter-Parliamentary relations have been discussed at video conference session in the Mejlis with the Chairman of the Representative Council of National Assembly of the Kingdom of Bahrain Fauzia Abdullah Yusuf Zaynal.

The State Statistics Committee has held video conference meeting with representatives of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (ESCAP) under regional online seminar dedicated to use of data from the population and housing census and registration of natural movement of the population for calculation of indicators and analytical strategies.

Vice-premier, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov has taken part in the second session of India – Central Asia Dialog, which was held in video conference format. Foreign Ministers of Kazkahstan Mukhtar Tleuberdy, the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbayev, the Republic of Tajikistan Sirdjiddin Muhriddin and the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov have also taken part in online meeting held under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister of India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Hanif Atmar took part in the meeting as a special guest.

XXV Turkmenistan Oil and Gas 2020 International Conference, which was organized by the State Concern Türkmengaz and Türkmennebit at the request of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has started its work at the Trade and Industrial Chamber yesterday.
