On occasion of Eid Al Fitr, congratulation messages have come to the address of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Wishes of happiness, health and prosperity were addressed to the Head of the State and all Turkmen people by President of United Arab Emirates Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahayan, President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomaly Rahmon.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers where current subjects of the government policy have been discussed.

Briefing on the Implementation of Turkmenistan’s international health initiatives took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Health Care and Medical Industry and other institutions of Turkmenistan, the heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in the country, the representatives of local and foreign media attended the meeting.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Order, which resolves to move day off from Sunday to Monday, May 25, 2020 due to celebration of Eid Al Fitr.

By the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shamuhammed Duridliyev was reprimanded for improper fulfilment of his duties, loss of control of activity of the ministries and profile departments under his supervision.

Delegation of Turkmenistan will take part in regular session of the Council of the Head of the Governments of the CIS countries, which will be held in video conference format on May 29 this year. It is planned to review number of issues of organizational aspect as well as subjects related to cooperation in economic, transport, cultural, sport and tourism and other spheres under the agenda.

Preparation to coming Turkmen Carpet Day, which is annually observed in the country on the last Sunday in May, is carried out. According to the programme of events, fair exhibition dedicated to the achievements of carpet and textile industry as well as trade sphere will be organized in the building of Trade and Industrial Chamber.

The State Concerns Türkmenhimiýa and Türkmengaz hosted video conference talsk with representatives of Japanese Mitsubishi Corporation, during which realization of agreements reached earlier and perspectives of cooperation in chemical and oil and gas industry have been discussed.
