During the session of the People’s Council, Head of National Parliament Gulshat Mammedova t read out the Resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan on award of the title of Turkmenistan «Hormatly il ýaşulusy» (Honoured Elder of the Nation) to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Speaking during the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov characterized the paces of socio-economic development of the country in 2019.

The second meeting of the highest representative body of Turkmenistan - Halk Maslahaty held in Ashgabat under the chairmanship of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focuses on the important tasks for the further economic and social development of the country, including the issues related to strengthening the constitutional foundations of Turkmenistan and improving the democratic principles of public administration.

For the contribution to strengthening the independence of Turkmenistan, enhancing the national traditions and customs, strengthening the unity of the people, raising the young generation, and also on occasion of the 28th anniversary of independence, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, authorizing:
