The World Health Day has been traditionally widely observed in Turkmenistan. Numerous sport, physical training, health improving, cultural, education and other event have been timed to the celebration.

President of the International Sambo Federation, who is currently in Ashgabat, had a meeting in the Martial Art Complex of the Olympic village with representatives of sport community of our country including titled sambo wrestlers, winners of prestige awards at different competitions of the world level.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received President of International Sambo Federation (FIAS) Vasiliy Shestakov who arrived in Ashgabat for participation dedicated to the World Health Day. The meeting took place in the Olympic village of Ashgabat.

“I congratulate you on the widely celebrated World Health Day! As all around the world, the remarkable events, multiplying our unity and cohesion, are held in Turkmenistan on occasion of the World Health Day”, says President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in his congratulatory address.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution on production of rice in Turkmenistan in 2019. According to the document, the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Protection, administrations of Dashoguz and Lebap velayats are assigned to provide high production of rice in S. Turkmenbashy etrap, Dashoguz Velayat as well as in Daganata, Dyanew, Charjew, Farab, Sayat, Halach, Hojambaz, Kery, Dovletly and Koytendag etraps of Lebap Velayat.

Days of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be held in Turkmenistan on April 18 – 22. Number of events aimed at the development of humanitarian dialog of two friendly countries is planned under cultural action.

By the request of the Ministry of Industry and Communication, specialists of the State Corporation Türkmengeologiýa have performed scientific and research works and discovered the deposits of iron ore at Gyzylgaya V section of Chagyl field in Gyzylgaya settlement of Turkmenbashy etrap, Balkan Velayat. It was informed to the Head of the State by Vice-premier M. Chakiyev at the session of the Government on April 5.

At the session of the Government on April 5, Vice-premier M. Meredov informed the Head of the State about the situation at the plant for production of gasoline from natural gas, which was built in Ahal Velayat. At present moment, construction works have been completed by 96 percent while commissioning works by more than 64 percent.
