President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular online session of the Cabinet of Ministers, having discussed current issues of the state life.

Relative clearing centre provided with modern equipment and programme software has been founded at the facilityof the State Energy Control of Ashgabat in the context of implementation of the objectives of transit to digital service system and payments of the electricity consumers. It has electronic database of the consumers in the capital including the address, volumes of consumed energy, period of payment, etc. It is possible now to pay using mobile phones, terminals and internet. Similar centres are planned to be opened in all velayats until the end of the year.

The work on organization of the exhibition hall of Turkmenistan at the World Exhibition EXPO 2020, which is to be held in Dubai (UAE), is carried out. The Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Affairs held an international tender, which selected project proposal of Tekmil private company – the member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Conceptual Strategy of development of Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex and Seydi Refinery is under elaboration. The Head of the State was informed about the work on the Concept by Vice-premier M. Meredov at the session of the Government on March 15.

The Head of the State ordered to start cotton sowing in Ahal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary Velayats on March 23 and in Dashoguz Velayat on March 27 at the session of the Government on March 15. It is planned to produce 1,050,000 tons of cotton this year.

Turkmen delegation chaired by Vice-premier, Head of Foreign Ministry Rashid Meredov made working visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The Head of the State was informed on the outcomes of the visit at the session of the Government on March 15.

At the session of the Government on March 15, Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov informed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov about the state visit of the King of Bahrein Hamad Ibn Isa Al Khalifa to Turkmenistan on March 17 – 19.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers on March 7 that expansion of measures for support of agriculture, implementation of the projects of rapid development of plant cultivation and livestock farming, comprehensive support of entrepreneurs working in this sphere have utmost importance for the development of agricultural complex.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosts the First session of the authorized representatives of the littoral Caspian states to agree on the draft of the Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of scientific research in the Caspian Sea between the governments of the littoral Caspian states.

The State Museum of the State Cultural Centre hosted the meeting on the theme “Museum Values and Cultural Relations”, which was organized by the Ministry of Culture of our country and dedicated to archaeological exhibition “Margiana – the Kingdom of the Bronze Age on the territory of Turkmenistan” held in Germany.
