Today is the third day of the state visit of President of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovind to Turkmenistan.

Today, the talks between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovind who has arrived in our country the day before for a state visit, has taken place at the capital.

1.    At the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Serdar Gurbangulyyevich Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, the President of the Republic of India, His Excellency Shri Ram Nath Kovind paid a State visit to Turkmenistan on April 1-4, 2022. This visit is significant as it is the first ever visit by an Indian President to Turkmenistan.

On April 2, the seventeenth meeting of the Mejlis Milli Gengesh of the sixth convocation was held via the digital system, which considered and adopted a number of laws and regulations developed in accordance with the priorities of the state policy of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and a comprehensive program to modernize the legislative and legal framework of the country .

Today the President of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovind arrived in Turkmenistan on a state visit.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held an online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which topical issues of state life and drafts of a number of documents aimed at further development of key sectors of national economy were considered.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial complex, as well as the hyakims of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat, having discussed the key objectives of the socio-economic development of the capital and regions and and seasonal agricultural work.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to the President of the United Mexican States Andrés Manuel López Obrador and the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the United Mexican States.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent warm congratulations and best wishes to President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Mohammad Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Ms. Sheikh Hasina and the people of the country on the occasion of the Independence Day of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar Al-Assad and the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Syrian Arab Republic.
