In accordance with the ""Programme of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025"", in order to successfully implement the tasks set for the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, as well as to ensure the safety and smooth operation of technological facilities of the complex, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, authorizing the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries to conclude a contract with the company ""INVEST Enterprises Limited"" of the People's Republic of China (Hong Kong) and the private enterprise ""Azap"" for the reconstruction of two main power plants within 18 months at the expenses of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.

On December 25, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers where priority subjects of the state life as well as drafts of some documents have been reviewed. Heads of administrations of the regions and Ashgabat have been invited to the session.

The State Library of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan and the National Library of Armenia launched cooperation on December 24.

By a Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography Arslan Gurbanmammedovich Ashyrov has been relieved of the position of Acting Director of Türkmen Owazy TV Channel of the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography.

To implement plans for boosting exports of Turkmen electricity as part of the 2013-2020 Electric Power Industry Development Strategy of Turkmenistan, to further strengthen cooperation between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in the electric power sector, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a Resolution on concluding a supplementary agreement to the contract for the supply of electricity from Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
