The third session of Joint Cooperation Committee between Turkmenistan and United Arab Emirates has been held in video conference format. Turkmen delegation was chaired by Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and the delegation of UAE by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahayan.

According to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Abdulla Geldiyev has been appointed as the Deputy Minister of Construction and Architecture.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working session with Chairman of Emergency Committee for Combating Spread of Diseases, Minister of Health Protection and Medical Industry N. Amannepesov.

The Foreign Ministry has held video conference session under European Union – Central Asia – Afghanistan format on the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers of Central Asian countries (Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan), the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan with participation of the Secretary General of European Foreign Service Mrs Helga Schmidt.

Priorities of bilateral cooperation, including the development of inter-parliamentary ties in the context of recent telephone conversation between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovind were discussed at the meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Turkmenistan Vidhu Peethambaran Nair held at the Mejlis.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular working video conference session with participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, who is in charge of agricultural complex, minister of agriculture and natural protection, heads of the regions and Ashgabat.

In his letter addressed to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of the Republic of Tunisia Kais Saied expressed commitment to enhance interstate cooperation.

Minister of Industry and Construction Materials of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov had a meeting with Ambassador of Japan Takahiko Katsumata to exchange views on various aspects of the interstate dialogue.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held the briefing on the work of the International Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association of and the International Association “Türkmen alabaý itleri” (“Turkmen Alabai”).
