The Foreign Ministry hosted online session of Modernization Group of the Energy Charter Agreement. Delegations of the Secretariat of the Energy Charter, European Union and other organizations took part in multilateral talks. The sides expressed interest in comprehensive improvement of productive cooperation in energy sphere, which is aimed at global sustainable development.

Today early in the morning, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov opened the new monument “Bicycle”, erected in the south of the Turkmen capital, at the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains.

The most important area of this partnership is the joint work with UNICEF in the priority areas of protecting the rights of the child. On the International Day for Protection of Children, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Turkmenistan and the UNICEF Representative in Turkmenistan speak about the results of the consolidation of efforts, as well as tasks and prospects of cooperation in this area.
