President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Turkmenistan Hugh Stanley Philpott who presented his credentials to the Head of the State.

For the great personal contribution to strengthening the independence of Turkmenistan, for the services in implementing large-scale programmes, improving the educational system, educating the younger generation, educating young people in the spirit of respect for the national values, historical heritage, and the provision of medical services to the population, for the successes achieved in the industrial sector, especially given the fruitful state and public activities, many years of hard work, as well as on occasion of the 28th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, authorizing:
