President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minority Lamberto Zannier.

Brussels to host the meeting of the foreign ministers in European Union – Central Asia format on November 23. It will be key event in the series of talks, sessions and other activities dedicated to the development of new Strategy of the EU for the region uniting five countries – Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

“I congratulate you on the beginning of the XXIII International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan 2018”, the main goal of which are to popularize the achievements of the fuel and energy complex of our country all around the world”, says the President in his address.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference session with the participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of number of ministries and departments and the Hyakim of Ashgabat. The agenda included utmost objective of social and economic development of the country, implementation of important projects as well as other topical issues of the state life.

Delegation of our country chaired by Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov made working visit to Hamburg and Berlin, Germany.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where topical subjects of the state policy have been discussed. Coming to the agenda of the session, the Head of the State gave floor to Chairperson of the Mejlis G. Mammedova.

Preparation to coming visit of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Turkmenistan is carried out. It was informed to the Head of the State by Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov at the session of the Government on November 16.

By the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Yazmyradov, Annageldi Orazberdiyevich, who held the post of executive head of the district of Baherden of the province of Ahal, was appointed Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources of Turkmenistan.

Turkmen capital hosted the 17th Ministerial Conference of the Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Programme. High-rank representatives of the countries of the CAREC Programme as well as Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, Islamic Development Bank, CAREC Institute, European Union, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, International Monetary Fund, the UN Development Programme took part in the session in Yildyz Hotel.
