Secretary General of the Energy Charter Urban Rusnak supported the proposals of Turkmenistan on development of new procedures for supply of energy resources to the world’s markets, which would consider the interests of the countries producing energy, consumers and transit countries.

Ashgabat’s hosting the International Energy Charter Forum “Towards a Multilateral Framework Agreement on Transit of Energy Resources” is an important step towards creating an instrument that would facilitate the groundwork of the global energy partnership that considers the interests of producers, transit parties and consumers of energy resources.

The participants of the forum “The Way to Multilateral Framework Agreement on Transit of Energy Sources” were greeted by Vice-President of European Commission Maros Sefcovic over the video call.

Representatives of profile government structures, competent international organizations, industrial sector and scientific institutions take part in the meeting held under chairmanship of Turkmenistan in the Conference of the Energy Charter in 2017.

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened a regular working video-selector meeting with participation of Cabinet Deputy Chairman E.Orazgeldiev supervising the agricultural sector, the khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city. The meeting reviewed the aspects of socio-economic development of the country’s and capital’s regions, the course of agricultural work, and celebration issues of the upcoming important dates.

VIII Neva Ecological Forum was held in Tavria Palace, Sankt-Petersburg on May 25 – 26.
