During the joint session of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council, priority tasks of the state politics and draft documents were reviewed.

On May 1, the sixth meeting of the foreign ministers of the countries participating in the ""Central Asia + Japan"" Dialogue will be held in Ashgabat, which is an effective instrument of constructive multilateral partnership. From 2014 until now, Turkmenistan has been chairing this structure.

For the significant contribution in the development of equestrian sports in Turkmenistan, the Head of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) Ingmar De Vos awarded the FEI Cup and Medal to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

In the framework of the VII session of the International Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association, Regional Director of the International Office of Epizootics (IOE) for Central Asia Kazimiras Lukauskas awarded the certificate on the establishment of the Equine disease free zone (EDFZ) in Turkmenistan to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

In particular, the honorary title was awarded to President of the Spanish Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association Blanca de Toledo Loma Osorio, President of the Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association in France Héloïse Anémone Flavia Girardi and a horse breeder from Uzbekistan Bakturdy Ibadullayev.
