The latest issue of the quarterly scientific and applied “Democracy and Law” Journal has been published by the Institute of State, Law, and Democracy of Turkmenistan in Turkmen, English, and Russian.
Today, a meeting of the Central commission for elections and referendums in Turkmenistan was held, where the final results of the elections of members of the People's Councils in the newly formed etraps of the velayats, as well as to replace the deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan who retired early, members of the velayat, etrap, city People's Councils and Gengeshes, which took place on the 29th of March, 2026, were summarised, approved, and announced.

At 7:00 on March 29, 2026, voting began at all 578 polling stations for the election of members of the halk maslahaty of the newly formed etraps, as well as for the place of prematurely drop out of deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the velayat, etrap, city halk maslahaty and Gengesh. Voting on the elections will end at 19:00.
Today, the VIII conference of judges of Turkmenistan was held with the participation of representatives of the Supreme court, the Arbitration court, and judges of velayat, city, and etrap courts. The agenda includes current tasks facing this structure.
