It was held a regular graduation of students of the higher educational establishments of military and law-enforcement agencies of the country – the Military Institute and Institute of the Navy of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan, Frontier Institute, Institute of National Security and Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country. Major solemnities on the occasion of this event have been organized on the square before the capital’s Monument of Constitution.

Ashgabat hosted a regional seminar on the efficiency of drug prevention national programmes. On the significant occasion - Day of Science, a grand ceremony of awarding the winners of the annual competition of scientific works among the youth organized by the Central Council of Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly in association with the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan was held in the conference hall of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
