Last week, 33 transactions were registered at the State Commodities and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. Business people of Great Britain and the United Arab Emirates purchased for foreign currency the aviation kerosene and low-sulfur residual fuel oil made at the Turkmenbashi Refinery Complex. Business people of Great Britain and Singapore concluded the contracts for straight-run gasoline of Seidi Oil Refinery; and representatives of business circles of Turkey and Tajikistan - for purchasing “B” carbamide and technical polypropylene bags (SC “Turkmenhimiya”). In addition, the refined cottonseed oil, cotton yarn, cotton and cotton cake were sold for foreign currency. The country-buyers were: Russia, Great Britain, Switzerland, Turkey, Singapore, Malta, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and others. The sum total of transactions exceeded US $51,467 thousand. For deposit manat funds, business people of Pakistan purchased cotton yarn (over 476,000 manat).
