President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov signed the Laws of Turkmenistan “On obligatory guarantee of individuals’ deposits”, “On amendments to the Administrative Violations Code of Turkmenistan”, “On alteration to the Arbitration Procedure Code of Turkmenistan”, “On introduction of amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan”, “On measures, related to treatment of persons suffering from alcoholism, drug-addiction or psychoactive substance dependence”, “On addition to the Law of Turkmenistan “On defence”, “On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Turkmenistan”, “On amendments and additions to the Electoral Code of Turkmenistan”, “On combating human trafficking” and “On adoption and introduction into operation of the Water Code of Turkmenistan”. *** For the special merits to the state and the people, long-term conscientious work, high professional skills and great achievements, and in commemoration of the glorious 25th anniversary of the Independence of neutral Turkmenistan, a number of citizens were awarded the “Galkynyş” Order, “Gaýrat”, “Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin” Medals. *** There were also awarded the honorary titles “Honored worker of science and technology of Turkmenistan”, “Honored worker of transport of Turkmenistan”, “Honored worker of communications of Turkmenistan”, “Honored worker of healthcare of Turkmenistan”, “Honored economist of Turkmenistan”. *** For merits, conscientious work, professional skills, Turkmen citizens of different professions, ages, nationalities were awarded “Türkmenistanyň Garaşsyzlygynyň 25 ýyllygyna” Anniversary Medal. The retired citizens’ deserts were particularly noted. *** Also “Türkmenistanyň Garaşsyzlygynyň 25 ýyllygyna” Anniversary Medal was awarded to foreign citizens for significant contribution to the development of friendly and fraternal cultural relations between the Turkmen and other peoples, active and fruitful public activity. *** In addition, according to the Ukase of the nation’s Leader Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, “Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin” Medal for the special contribution to development of culture, art, science, education, and industries was awarded state awards of Turkmenistan a number of deceased prominent figures of XX-XXI centuries of our country. The first President of Turkmenistan S. A. Niyazov was awarded “Garaşsyz Türkmenistana bolan beýik söýgüsi üçin” order. *** The President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov signed the Ukase «On pardon of convicted persons on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan» releasing pardoned from further enduring the main and additional punishment in the form of imposing the duty of residence in a particular area.
