Ashgabat hosted the meeting with participation of the representatives of the Business Council “Turkmenistan – USA”, number of companies of the United States of America as well as branch ministries and departments, industrial structures, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of our country, during which the share of visions on perspectives of the development of long-term successful partnership in different spheres of economy took place.

Refrigeratory complex, designed for storing 3,000 tons of fruits and vegetables were put into operation in the administrative centre of the northern region of the country. The new facility, occupying the five-hectare territory, was built by the specialists of a Turkmen private enterprise at the request of the State Food Industry Association.

A delegation of International Monetary Fund during the next visit to Turkmenistan estimates the macroeconomic situation and discusses national policy priorities with senior government officials and representatives of the diplomatic community.

Last week, 42 transactions were registered at the State Commodities and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

On December 7, the Exhibition Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan hosted the 21st International Exhibition and Conference «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2016» organized by the State Concern «Turkmennebit» and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country.

On December 3, in the Turkmen capital, VI International exhibition-fair of cotton production of Turkmenistan and the international conference «Cotton production of Turkmenistan and the world market» started, organized by the Ministry Agriculture and Water Economy, the State Commodities and Raw Materials Exchange, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country.

Presentations and talks between the exporters and importers of “white gold” were held during Cotton Fair Exhibition in Ashgabat. They resulted in the contracts with such companies as Swiss «Paul Reinhart», «Carvon Commodities», «Rezana Trading C.A.», Turkish company «Çalyk Pamyk», «Olam International» from Singapore and others for more than 30 million 321 thousand US dollars.

On December 1, German Economy Day in Turkmenistan was held in the capital’s “Ýyldyz” Hotel.

Last week, 50 transactions were registered at the State Commodities and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
