In 2016, Turkmenistan had put into operation 202 facilities worth over US $ 5 billion.

State Concern ""Turkmenhimiya"" will build the plant for production of detergents. The new facility will have annual capacity of 20 thousand tons. The international tender for selection of contractor , which would design and construction the plant on ""turnkey"" basis, had been announced with application deadline of 7 February 2017.

Businessmen from Great Britain, Afghanistan, Belize, Georgia, Kazakhstan bought automobile petrol and hydraulically purified diesel fuel produced by Turkmenbashy Refinery Complex as well as naphtha produced by Seydi Refinery for foreign currency.

This week the Turkmenhowayollary State National Service has expanded the geography of regular international flights.
