The State Customs Service hosted a meeting on the issues of fulfilling the country’s transport and transit potential in a context of the tasks set by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov during an on-site meeting of the State Security Council on June 20.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a round table on ""United Nations - Central Asia: Historical, Economic and Social Aspects of Enhancing Regional Integration"".

In the metropolitan khyakimlik, President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held the meeting, devoted to prospects for the development of Ashgabat, preparation of its infrastructure for the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held offsite session of the State Security Council. The main subjects of the session, held in new building of the State Custom Service, included the support of realization of transport and transit potential of the country and definition of perspective measures in this direction.

All-purpose exhibition “International Economic Cooperation 2017” opens in the Turkmen capital. The President of Turkmenistan addressed his welcome message to the participants.

On behalf of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, Mejlis Chairman A. Nurberdyeva received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Ms. Regina Veronica Maria Jones-Bos.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov sent his condolences to the President of the Republic of Portuguese Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa in connection with the last forest fire, which caused numerous human causalities, mutilation and destruction.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a working meeting by direct video communication with participation of deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers who supervises the spheres of construction and power energy, khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city. Issues of the grain-harvesting campaign and preparation for the Week of Culture to be held in Ashgabat were put on the agenda.

Today Ashgabat will host the International conference, “Role of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea in Developing Cooperation in the Central Asian Region”.

Current political, economic, cultural and social progress of Turkmenistan, which is commited to the principles of democratic, legal and temporal state, was achieved owing to the unity and solidarity of the society as well as humane governmental policy, - the message says.
