President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Belarus participating in the commissioning ceremony of ore dressing and processing plant for production of potassium fertilizers in Garlyk launched the conveyor of the facility.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko attended the solemn ceremony of opening the ore-dressing and processing complex for production of potash fertilizers in Garlyk, Lebap Velayat.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov speaking to the mass media on the outcomes of Turkmen – Belarusian high-level talks in Ashgabat outlined the condition and perspectives of bilateral cooperation.

Addressing the mass media on the outcomes of Turkmen – Belarusian talks in Ashgabat, President Alexander Lukashenko noted that Belarus highly appreciates the successes of Turkmenistan in social and economic development. The Leader of the friendly state highlighted that steadfast course of the Turkmenistan Government in realization of creative policy aimed at the prosperity of the people is highly respected. The similarity of approaches to solution of internal and foreign issues predetermined the cooperation of Belarus and Turkmenistan both in bilateral and multilateral formats, President Alexander Lukashenko said.

After the ceremony of signing of documents on the results of the talks in Ashgabat, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko addressed the representatives of mass media.

After the top level talks between the Presidents of Turkmenistan and Belarus had concluded, the ceremony of signing bilateral documents was held.

At the Turkmen-Belarusian talks in Ashgabat, Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Alexander Lukashenko spoke in favor of strengthening cooperation in the humanitarian sphere.

During Turkmen – Belarusian high-level talks with participation of the official delegations in Ashgabat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov estimated the condition and prospects of bilateral economic cooperation.

During the Turkmen-Belarussian talks held in Ashgabat in expanded format, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the positive dynamics of the trade turnover between the two countries in 2016, which increased by 4.4 % as compare to 2015. The President of Turkmenistan underlined that Belarus was one of old and reliable partners of Turkmenistan in the trade and economic sphere.
