Qualification round of the Asian Football Confederation Cup is finished. Turkmen fans paid special attention to the matches of D Group where two our clubs were competing in six rounds. These are the champion of the country Altyn Asyr and Ahal, the winner of Turkmenistan Cup.

Four medals, including three gold, were added to our national team’s count on the second day of the Asian Sambo and Combat Sambo Championship that is being held in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar. 13 athletes represent our country at the championship.

Ashgabat club Altyn Asyr effectively won Kyrgyz Alay (5:0) in Balkanabat. Forwards Altymurad Annadurdiyev and Murad Yagshiyevscored two goals each. By the way, M. Yagshiyev who also made one pass on goal was the best player of the match. Another goal was scored by our defender Mekan Ashyrov.

The second match of D Group between Turkmen football clubs under Asian Football Confederation Cup was held in Balkanabat on Thursday. Altyn Asyr took over Ahal with minimum score of 1:0. The goals was scored in additional time by player of capital team Serdar Geldiyev.
