In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, thanks to the support of the President of Turkmenistan, ample opportunities are being created to take domestic cinema to a new level, producing contemporary films and promoting them abroad, including participating in international film festivals in various countries. Films by Turkmen directors participating in such international events are winning prizes. This is confirmed by the results of the Turan International Film Festival, which took place in Izmir, the Republic of Türkiye.

Today, a ceremonial concert marking the 27th Opera Days of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) was held at the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. Among the participants were masters of opera from Turkmenistan, the Republic of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.

Today, the Palace of Mukams at the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan hosted a concert dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding composer and founder of Turkmen professional musical art, Veli Mukhatov.

Today, the State music and drama theatre named after Nurmuhammet Andalib in Dashoguz city hosted the opening ceremony of the of the festival «Dünýäde ýaňlanýar ajap dessanym, toý tutýar Garaşsyz Türkmenistanym» with participation of local dastan bagshys.

Today, on the threshold of International Women's Day in the Mukam Palace of the State culture centre in honour of women and girls of our fatherland, the festive concert of workers of culture and arts took place.

The theme of the competition was not chosen by chance. Turkmens are the creators and pioneers of the first domesticated horse breed in human history − the famous Ahal-Teke.

As a result of consecutive efforts of Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the Akhal-teke breed is recognised as touchstone in world horse breeding, today the glory of Turkmen horses steadily grows in the international arena.

The first month of the new year, 2026, was marked by an outstanding achievement, in keeping with the motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”.  

A series of festive concerts by foreign pop performers took place in Ashgabat on the eve of the New Year holidays. The opening of the musical marathon was entrusted to one of the world’s most famous singers — Arash.

Today, the final of the singing contest “Ýylyň parlak ýyldyzy” was held at the Alp Arslan National Drama Theatre of Turkmenistan. The competition has traditionally become one of the brightest events in the pre-New Year festive program.
