Today, the Mukam Palace of the state culture centre of Turkmenistan hosted a solemn forum, in which speeches of issues of organisation significant events in the modern history of the country were heard, especially festive events planned for the current year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged racers». The present event once again confirms a complex approach shown at the state level to preparation and conduction of significant holidays in the life of the country and society.

Today, on July 1, a briefing dedicated to the preparations for a unique event—the World Horse Racing Championship and the Ahal-Teke Horse Beauty Contest—was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Today, the Culture Week, which took place over several days in the Balkan velayat, concluded. The closing ceremony of the creative forum coincided with celebrations of Culture and Art Workers Day, as well as the Day of Poetry of Magtymguly Fragi – a holiday widely celebrated in our country, becoming one of the main events dedicated to this date.

Each day of Culture Week, held in Balkan velayat, is filled with a series of vibrant and unforgettable events. Such a diverse program of events enhances the significance and level of this creative celebration, reflecting the richness and achievements of national culture and art.

In Balkan velayat, the Week of culture successfully proceeds. The fourth day of a large-scale forum was also rich with significant cultural actions, the well organization of which corresponds to the overall objective of the Week - preservation, all-round study and wide popularisation of the spiritual values of our people, assistance to the professional growth of creative figures, revealing of new talents and increase of the cultural level of society.

As part of Culture Week, which complemented the historically significant events of the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” a series of events was held aimed at promoting various forms of art and creative expression. The activities organized in celebration of the Day of Culture and Art Workers and the Poetry of Magtymguly Fragi reflected the country’s achievements across all spheres and the rich spiritual world of its people.

The second day of the Week of culture, which started in the western region of the country, was rich with various events.

Today, the grand opening of Culture Week took place in the city of Balkanabat, the administrative center of the country’s western region, at the Türkmeniň ak öýi building. The event coincided with the widely celebrated Day of Cultural and Art Workers and Magtymguly Pyragy Poetry. 

Today, the official opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan took place at the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan in the capital city.

Today, the capital city hosted the exhibition of carpets and carpet products as well as XXVI conference of the World Association of Connoisseurs of Turkmen Handmade Carpets, timed to the holiday of the Turkmen carpet annually marked on the last Sunday of May.
