Events continue as part of the Culture Week, reflecting the enormous creative potential of Turkmen society and demonstrating the diversity of our people's spiritual life.
Large-scale cultural events marked the second day of the Culture Week, designed to make a significant contribution to the dynamic development of Turkmen culture, art and literature, inspiring creative artists to create in harmony with the rhythms of the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state.
Today there, the State Drama Theatre named after Aman Gulmammedov hosted a solemn opening of the Week of Culture-2024. The festive event initiated by National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is aimed at preservation, deep study and popularisation of national culture, displaying its ever growing role in development of the state and society as well as huge peace-making potential.

The International Scientific Conference "Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi" was held today in the capital, as part of the events marking the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and classical poet Magtymguly.

Today, in Turkmenabat city, on the occasion of the inclusion of the Amul fortress in the site “The Great Silk Road: Zarafshan-Karakum Corridor”, included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the International scientific and practical conference “The Ancient Fortress of Amul: Keeper of the Secrets of the Past” was held.
On the 24th of April, a concert of masters of culture and art of Turkmenistan took place in the conference hall of the UNESCO headquarters located in the capital of France. The creative forum, which was held with great success in Paris as part of the joint celebration with UNESCO and TURKSA of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly, attracted enormous attention from a large public.
On April 22, the opening of the exhibition “Magtymguly Fragi and the Cultural Heritage of Turkmenistan”, organized by the Permanent Representation of Turkmenistan to UNESCO together with the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France, the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, took place at the UNESCO headquarters in the capital of a friendly state. It was also held a scientific conference, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the activities of the Turkmen-French archaeological group.
The festive opening of the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan was held today in Dushanbe. This large-scale creative event will be an important contribution to Turkmen-Tajik interstate relations.
