The international scientific conference «Ancient culture of Anau», which took place today in the Culture centre of Anau city of Ak bugday etrap of Akhal velayat, became one of the main events on the occasion of declaration of the city as cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024.

Today, in the building «Türkmeniň аk öýi», located in the valley «Nowruz ýaýlasy» in Ak bugday etrap a solemn ceremony on the occasion of announcement of Anau city as cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024 took place and a start for cultural events planned to be held according to the honourable status delegated to the city was given.

Today marks two years since President Serdar Berdimuhamedov acceded to the highest government post. The fateful inauguration day for the Turkmen people became a special milestone in the history of the independent neutral Homeland, marking the irreversibility of the democratic transformations unfolded in our country, which has centuries-old traditions of genuine democracy.

Today, on the eve of the holiday widely celebrated in Turkmenistan - International Women's Day, a concert of art masters dedicated to the glorious daughters of the Fatherland was held at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Centre.

The next issue of the Miras quarterly popular science journal, published by the Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan in Turkmen, Russian and English, has been published.

The second day of the IV International Festival "Theater Art of the Age of Happiness" was continued by the Alp Arslan National Drama Theater, presenting the play "White Steamboat" on their stage. The play is based on the eponymous novella by the Soviet and Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov.
