According to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan in 2024 in our country and abroad, the 300^th birthday anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi is widely celebrated. It gives a new impulse to study of his invaluable philosophic-poetic heritage, which has entered into the golden treasury of world literature.

Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in the opening ceremony of the monument to the great poet and philosopher of the East Magtymguly Fragi, erected in Astana. 

Today the country widely celebrates the Day of Workers of Culture and Art, as well as the poetry of «Magtymguly Fragi». The Week of Culture is dedicated to this holiday, the annual holding of which has become a noble tradition.

Today, the series of events of the Culture Week continued at the Library named after Dovletmammet Azady in the city of Arkadag, where the conference «Priority directions for modernizing and improving the scientific and methodological activities of libraries» and an exhibition of publishing products were held.

Today, the capital city hosted a solemn opening of the culture centre «Dokmaçylar» of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan.

Today, in accordance with the program of the Week of Culture, events were held that revealed the significance of the large-scale work carried out in Turkmenistan to preserve and study historical and architectural monuments, as well as introducing achievements in the field of national culture, including in circus arts.

Events continue as part of the Culture Week, reflecting the enormous creative potential of Turkmen society and demonstrating the diversity of our people's spiritual life.

Large-scale cultural events marked the second day of the Culture Week, designed to make a significant contribution to the dynamic development of Turkmen culture, art and literature, inspiring creative artists to create in harmony with the rhythms of the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state.

Today there, the State Drama Theatre named after Aman Gulmammedov hosted a solemn opening of the Week of Culture-2024. The festive event initiated by National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is aimed at preservation, deep study and popularisation of national culture, displaying its ever growing role in development of the state and society as well as huge peace-making potential.
