In order to identify talented creative workers who glorify through highly artistic works the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, the benevolent domestic and foreign policy implemented in accordance with the status of permanent neutrality, the historical transformations of the native country, confidently moving forward with the speed of a horse, the prosperous life of our happy people, glorious history, beautiful nature, national principles, making a great contribution to the development of Turkmen culture, art, literature, as well as the selection and stimulation of the most talented, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution «On the announcement of a competition for the Prize of the President of Turkmenistan «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» among literary, cultural and artistic figures, amateur young singers and gifted children».
Today, the closing ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan was held in the capital at the Palace of Mukams of the State Cultural Center.
In order to further enhance the world fame of the Turkmen Alabay - the national treasure and pride of the Turkmen people, and in accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan №2222 «On holding competitions on the occasion of the Turkmen Alabay Holiday» dated 9th of April, 2021, the President of Turkmenistan signed an Order ordering that on the occasion of the Turkmen Alabay Holiday, on the 27th of October, 2024, in the city of Ashgabat, the International Competition «Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy» be held, as well as competitions among carpet makers, artists, sculptors, photographers, publishing workers and television cameramen for the artistic display of the image of Turkmen Alabay in works of fine and decorative and applied art, publishing products, in photographs, on television channels, approving the composition of the jury of the above competitions.
