The solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the scientific works competition among the youth of Turkmenistan, traditionally held to commemorate the Day of Science by the Academy of Sciences and the Central Council of the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization, was held today in the conference hall of the Oguz Khan Engineering and Technological University.
As is noted in the congratulatory message by the Head of State, the participation of scientists, professors, engineers and technologists from prestigious scientific and educational centers of the world in the international scientific conference shows the growing international interest in our scientific and technological policy, the deepening of the international community’s desire to establish new international cooperation. The Esteemed President emphasized that the focus of modern knowledge and science on the global economic and cultural innovative development is a very important condition for establishing peaceful, friendly and good relations.
The Day of Science, professional holiday of scientists, researchers and personnel of scientific organizations, has been celebrated in Turkmenistan on June 12.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a letter of congratulation to the winners of the scientific competition among the youth of Turkmenistan. The message reads as follows: «I heartily congratulate you on your great success in the scientific competition among the youth of our country in the year that was declared «Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Peace and Trust»!
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent letters of congratulation to the graduates, officers and professors of the Military Academy of Turkmenistan, the Saparmurat Turkmenbashy Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan, the Naval Institute of the Ministry of Defense of Turkmenistan, the Frontier Guards Institute of Turkmenistan, the Institute of National Security of Turkmenistan, the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Military Medicine Faculty of the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryev.
On June 11th, the farmers of Balkan region began the wheat harvesting campaign in an organized manner.
A delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Cabinet Deputy Chairman, Supreme Control Chamber Chairman Serdar Berdimuhamedov, which was on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates on June 9-11 on the instructions of the Esteemed President, was warmly met at the international airport in Abu Dhabi by the officials of the United Arab Emirates. During the brief conversation at the airport, it was noted that due to the consistent efforts of the Heads of State of Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates, relations between the two countries in various fields have been strengthening.
On June 11, Esteemed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system.
A conference entitled ‘Conditions for Business Improvement and Development’ that took place online was co-organized by the Council of Heads of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the member-countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
In order to further develop the partnership between Turkmenistan and the State of Qatar, expand bilateral trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian relations, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the composition of the joint Intergovernmental Turkmen-Qatari Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation from the Turkmen side.
