Farmers of the country’s eastern region have reported on the successful fulfillment of a state order for raw cotton production, having delivered more than 300,000 tons of ‘white gold’ to specially designated cotton centers.

Cotton growers in Ahal Velayat, who are the first in the country to report on the fulfillment of the contractual obligations, achieved an important labour victory, delivering more than 207,000 tons of ‘white gold’ to the receiving points of the country.

Farmers in Turkmenkala etrap, Mary velayat are reported to have met their contractual obligations and harvested more than 32,400 tons of ‘white gold’.

Cotton growers in Turkmenbashi etrap, Dashoguz Velayat were the first in the region to report on the fulfillment of contractual obligations. They delivered 47.200 tons of ‘white gold’ to the receiving points of the country.

The success of the cotton growers is a result of the joint efforts of all agricultural workers and the large-scale transformations taken place in the industry as part of the agrarian reform initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The efficient use of land and water resources, the regional specialization of the agro-industrial complex, systematic introduction of market relations elements into the agricultural sector and a number of important aspects have received a new understanding and concrete embodiment in the modern agrarian policy of Turkmenistan.

Charjew etrap, Lebap velayat reported on fulfilment of contractual obligations for production of raw cotton. It delivered 57.5 thousand tons of valuable product.

14 transactions were registered past week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Farmers of Serahs district reported on the fulfillment of their contractual obligations for the harvesting of raw cotton. They have collected and submitted to the state over 28 thousand tons of “white gold”.

Cotton growers in Sayat Etrap, Lebap Velayat report on the fulfillment of the contractual obligations. They delivered more than 46.400 tons of cotton to the receiving points in the country.
