In branch departments, there were held meetings on measures to strictly accomplish the tasks, set by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov at a recent meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, dedicated to the five-month results.

On the threshold of the grain-harvesting campaign, Turkmenistan received the first batch of combine harvesters of the “TUCANO 430” brand by the world famous German engineering company “CLAAS”. Ceremony of welcoming the new agricultural machinery, held in Ak Bugday etrap of Akhal velayat, was participated by representatives of khyakimlik, farmers, machine operators, honorary elders, students of specialized universities etc.

Past week at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan 70 transactions were registered.

Non-state sector of the economy of Turkmenistan demonstrates the best growth rates for the first 5 months of 2017. As it was announced today at the meeting of the Turkmen government dedicated to the results of the country's social and economic development over this period, enterprises of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan produced industrial goods worth 255 million manat, agricultural and food products - 395 million manat, an increase was of 43.3 percent and 31.7 percent respectively.

Turkmenistan for the first five months of 2017 demonstrates high rates of economic growth. Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Finance B.Hojamammedov reported this at a government meeting.

Grain harvesting in the four of Turkmenistan’s five provinces will begin on 7 June. The respective decision was taken at the Government session dedicated to the outcomes of the five months of 2017.

In order to carry out administrative and structural reforms in various sectors of the national economy and analyze the proposals for improving their activities, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution on creation of an Interdepartmental Commission to analyze proposals for administrative and structural reforms in the economic sectors and approval of its composition.
