The Ministry of Industry of Turkmenistan has announced an international investment tender for the construction of a production line with a capacity of 300-600 thousand tons of cement per year within the Kelyata Cement Plant.

Besides, the extract of licorice, cotton fabric and thread, cotton fibre, regenerated fibre, cotton wastes were sold for foreign currency to the businessmen form Russia, UAE, Turkey and Serbia. Total amount of transactions exceeded 16 934 000 US dollars.

Drilling operations conducted by specialists of the State Concern “Turkmennebit” to drill the super-deep well in the country with the design depth of 7 thousand 150 meters, in the range of 6,689-6,695 meters, resulted in an industrial inflow of natural gas.

The new seaport will create the most favorable conditions for European countries to enter the commodity and raw materials markets of the Near and Middle East, as well as to the states of the Indian Ocean basin, allowing the freight flows to significantly reduce the distance and travel time.

During a meeting, aspects of building up trade and economic cooperation and cultural and humanitarian relations will be discussed.

Planned measures for its construction were reported at a meeting of the Government held on May 5. The Head of State ordered to carefully study the issue of creating the border highway Turkmenbashi-Garabogaz-Kazakhstan, which will be the continuation of the high-speed multimodal highway Ashgabat-Turkmenbashi, which in turn will increase the traffic flow and increase the volume of trade between the neighboring countries.

The International Conference on Transport and Logistics has completed its work in the Avaza National Tourism Zone.
