Online meeting “Turkmenistan – Belarus: Future Cooperation”, which was organized by Trade and Industrial Chambers of two countries, has been dedicated to discussion of priority directions of cooperation.

First issue of magazine «Türkmeniň nusgalyk alabaýy» (Exemplary Turkmen Alabay) has been published on the threshold of the celebration of the 29th anniversary of the country’s independence.

Vice-premier, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a video conference session with General Director of the UN Education, Science and Culture Organization Audrey Azoulay.

On the instruction of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Turkmen delegation took part in the solemn ceremony of signing a number of significant documents, aimed at promoting the further implementation of joint infrastructure projects between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan, in particular, the construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline, power lines and optical - fiber communication Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan (TAP), railways.

On behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan as well as personally, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has send deep condolences to the Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at the passing of the Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The Government of Turkmenistan in close cooperation with the United Nations, its regional commissions and relevant specialized agencies organized a high-level videoconference meeting on strengthening transport communications in the SPECA region and beyond during COVID-19 outbreak.

Wide range of subjects of Turkmen – German cooperation was discussed under political consultations, which were held in video conference mode between the Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Germany. The German delegation has been chaired by the Authorized Representative of German Foreign Ministry for Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia Michael Ziebert.
