President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Igor Makarov, the Head of ARETI International Group of Companies with the central office in Geneva (Switzerland), who is currently on a working visit in our country.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Chairman of the Management Committee (CEO) of Russian Public Joint Stock Company Gazprom Alexey Miller.

Programme work for digitization of all spheres of national economy, introduction of scientific developments to production is carried out in the country at present time. Different ministries, departments and agencies as well as entrepreneurs of the country work on the strengthening of equipment and facility base, creation of necessary network platforms, which allow integrating services provided for the population to the internet, under the objectives outlined in the Concept of development of digital economy.

Farmers of Dashoguz Velayat, where sowing campaign starts a bit later than in other regions of the country due to natural and climate conditions, started the sowing of cotton.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working video conference session with the participation of hyakims of the velayats. Issues of social and economic development of the regions and course of agricultural works have been reviewed at the session.

The delegation headed by the Chairman of the Turkmen-Japanese Interparliamentary Friendship Group under the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Deputy Hyakim of Ahal Velayat, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, arrived in Japan.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made working trip around the capital, during which inspected the projects of construction of new major urban complex in the northern part of Ashgabat by the request of the Hyakim of the city.

The President of Turkmenistan visited the Motor Sports centre of the Ministry of Interior where he arrived by new sport car. In the centre, the Head of the state was met by the Speaker of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of military and law enforcement agencies.

Our sportsmen won three gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the World Summer Games of Special Olympics, which were held in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).
