Secrets of this exclusively refined and painstaking craft were passed from generation t generation and reached our days. Turkmen carpets are the state of soul of our nation. Five carpet patterns decorating the State Flag of Turkmenistan embody the unity, prosperity, peaceful and happy life of our nation, the message says. We pay special attention to the development of national carpet making art. Production infrastructure is modernized, new carpet production facilities with the best conditions for work and rest of our excellent masters are put into operation for its world popularization and protection of models of original carpet making. At present time, we support beneficial trade and economic, scientific and educational relations and cooperation in cultural and other spheres with many countries of the world. this is visually indicated by international forums, exhibitions, fairs and conferences regularly held in our country. Current international exhibition and XIX Conference of the World Connoisseurs of Turkmen carpets demonstrate the success and beautiful works of our skilled masters in their all variety.
